March Ipsy

Hello Lovelies!

Sorry I am really late posting this, but better late than never! 

Here is what I got in my March Ipsy bag!

First thing I have to say is that March's Ipsy bag is so cute! The bags lately haven't been the cutest in my opinion, but this bag is adorable!

 NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk

When I first saw this lipstick I was like wow, that is a deep purple! Then I swatched it and found that you really have to do a few coats to get it a bit deeper.

 Boo Boo Cover Up Concealer in Medium Mini 0.13 OZ

Sadly, this is too dark for me, getting this makes me wish that Ipsy followed the info we filled out, in my beauty profile it says that I am fair. I do like this product but I won't be able to use it. 

 

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Illuminating Face Highlighter in Crystal Pink 

I really like this highlighter, it is super smooth and buttery! I am happy to see Ipsy feature a new brand that I have never heard of or tried. 

 

Purlisse Purdelicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser 1 Fl Oz 

I have got so many things from this brand from Ipsy, I am not a huge fan. Although, I am still going to try this product, who knows, I may love it!

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion 0.25 fl oz

First thing I have to say, RIP to Mr. Brandt.

I love Dr. Brandt products, I am a huge fan of the Pores No More line. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is practically empty, it is only filled like maybe 15%, which is pretty annoying. 

Overall I would give this bag a 7/10

OCTOBER IPSY BAG!

Hello Lovelies!!

It is that time of the month, I got my Ipsy bag!!! I know a lot of people are tired of getting monthly beauty subscriptions and samples, but I am definitely not one of them! It feels like Christmas every month getting these in, a little treat for yourself is always nice!

October's Bag

 Epice International Purifying Exfoliant 1 oz

Full size is 3.30 fl oz rtv $ $32

At first when I squeezed a bit of this out I thought it was a lotion, but when I rubbed it around I can definitely feel the micro beads. It has a subtle clean smell, that won't be over powering, I cannot wait to give this a try!

 Doll 10 Beauty H2Glo Highlighter in Champagne 0.15 oz

Full size is 0.35 oz and retails for $30

This is a great sized deluxe sample! I was so happy to see this in my bag, I love trying new highlighters! The formula is really nice, this highlighter is subtle and perfect for an every day look!

 MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder Eyeshadow in 93 Reluctance 0.10 oz Full size! RTV $14

At first I was not excited to see this eyeshadow in here, but then I swatched it, and it is so beautiful! It swatched really smooth and buttery and has great pigmentation.

I would buy this eyeshadow, and I would definitely recommend it!

Fig & Rouge Nourishing and Smoothing Hand Cream in Mango Mandarin 0.67 oz / 20 ml, Full size! RTV $6.56!

This smells so incredibly good! I love Mango Mandarin scents! The packaging on this is cute as well, I love the cap, it reminds me of L'Occitane caps!

 Starlooks Mini Lip Gloss in Guilty Pleasure

Full Size RTV $12

Usually I dislike the many lipglosses that Ipsy sends out but I can't complain about this one, it is a nice color that I can actually use!!! The gloss is quite sticky but the color is pretty and pigmented. 

Overall I'm going to give October's Ipsy Bag a 10/10!! That is right I gave this bag a 10!!!!!! I will use every single one of these products, the colors are great, the pigmentation is great, exfoliants are always nice as well as great smelling hand cream! I haven't tried most of the brands, and that is something that I look for in these bags, something new, or something I WANT to try before purchasing. I am so pleased with this bag, great job Ipsy!!! Hoping for a great month next month too!

IPSY BAG SEPTEMBER 2014

Hello Lovelies!

I love opening my mail box and seeing that bright pink bubble mailer in it! I don't know about you, but I always keep the mailer and reuse it! It is so perfect for mailing out gifts, or to trade beauty items!

First off, the make up bag we got this month is so cute! I love the little studs on it and I ill definitely be using this one! 

 

 All my products from September!

 Hikari Lipstick in Cabernet - rich red wine. This product is full sized and is worth $13!

I have not heard of this brand so it is awesome that Ipsy is using different brands.

Pacifica Pencil Eyeliner - Silver. This is about half the size of the full size eyeliner and is worth about $6.

I'm not a big pencil eye liner fan, but Pacifica's is surprisingly smooth and glides on nicely! It will be perfect for Christmas (Only 98 days away!). 

 Beauty Without Cruelty - BWC Premium Botanical Lotion in Sweet Lavender 2 FL OZ. The full size bottle is 16 Oz and costs $12.95, so this deluxe samples is worth about $2.50.

Another new brand! I love that they are cruelty free and I hope that we see some make up in the bags from this brand in the future!

 Harvey Prince Hello Mini Rollerball 8.8 ML $21!!

SCORE! I love getting perfumes that aren't those little mini samples, getting a rollerball makes me giddy on the inside! I love the citrus smell that lasts for hours!

 Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Smooth Criminal Powder

0.14 OZ RTV $12.

This is one brand I can't wait for Ipsy to stop sending out in the bags. I'm not a big fan of their products and generally don't use any of them.

This month's bag's worth is around $54.50!!! Honestly the worth doesn't matter to me as much as the products do! 

Overall it was a decent bag, not my favorite but I am happy with it!

Personally I would rather have the palette from Be A Bombshell since I am not a big NYX eyeshadow fan. *Crossing fingers for B.A.B.*

MARCH IPSY (MYGLAM) SNEAK PEAK #1!

It is the first Monday of the month, so you know what that means... IPSY SNEAK PEAK!!!

Today's sneak peak is.....

MARCH GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #1: Travel tips and travel lips! Now is the time to start planning a trip to your dream destination with one of these amazing products.

As you can see from the picture, there is a lipgloss and a lipstick in a vibrant dark pink/red color. 

Here is what I think the items are:

Bare Minerals, Double Trouble lip set! Retail $14

Even though it is a set, it is possible that Ipsy will be breaking them up and it will be an either or item. So I'm assuming that you will either get the lipstick or the lipgloss. *I could be wrong and this might not be what is in the sneak peak*

APRIL IPSY BAG!

APRIL IPSY BAG!

Hey everyone, I finally got my Ipsy bag in the mail today! If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is a monthly subscription that costs $10 per month and you get 4/5 beauty products! I love Ipsy because it is one of the cheapest monthly beauty subscriptions and it usually comes with a great selection of items as well as great sizes! 

 

Here is what I received in my bag this month!

 

The first item that I took notice to was this little bottle of Big Sexy Hair in Powder Play! What it is, is a volumizing and texturizing powder! Inside it is about half way full, I wish there was more in there, but a little goes a long way! I love the size (0.07 OZ) because it is easy to keep it in my purse for when I am out and need something quick to use for volume! I'm so excited for this product!! 

 

Sation Nail Lacquer in Love At First Byte

Yay for a full sized product! This nail polish is a nude pink color. 

 

Be a Bombshell blush in Sweet Cheeks! 

Another full sized product! Yes Ipsy!! I have been waiting for them to put a blush in a bag that wasn't on a paper for forever! I love this color, it is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to rock it!

Last but not least, and can you say omg another full-sized product, Two Cosmetics duo eyeshadow in Heartache! 

Although, it is sad because as you can tell it is broken =/ but the Ipsy costumer service is amazing and they are sending me a new one out! 

 

Overall, Ipsy has once again really impressed me this month! Yes, there was only four products but three of them were full-sized!!! I cannot wait to see what is in store for next month!!

 

 

 

 

August Myglam Bag!

August Myglam Bag!

Myglam has been having great bags ever since I joined a couple of months ago in June. This is my third bag so far and I have to say that Myglam is my favorite beauty sub I have right now. I love that with every bag I get a new make-up bag that is perfect for my purse because I like to trade them up every now and then. This month was definitely not disappointing with a total 6 items not including the bag!

Like last month the make up bag is a mesh bag! I do like mesh bags because they are nice for taking in the shower or to the beach without having to worry about them getting ruined. Although I am not a big fan of orange but I will still definitely be using this bag.

Inside the bag were 6 amazing products! I am so excited that there were 6 this month, thank you Myglam!!

Andrea's Choice Circus Nail Color in Ringmaster. We actually got one of her polishes last month as well but I love getting polishes so I am happy with this product.

Myglam Glam Gloss in 01. This is actually a really great full size lipgloss, it smells so good, just like watermelon. I haven't been able to tell if it is sticky though because I always wear chapstick under lipgloss and that prevents the sticky feeling on your lips. The color is a really nice baby pink.

S.A.L.T.Y. Cosmetics Loose Luxury Mineral Eye Shadow in Glama-ZOID 1GM. Wow two products that are made just for Myglam, that is pretty awesome. I haven't tried this eyeshadow yet but the color is a pretty glitter white but it is iridescent and turns pink.

Demeter Roll On Perfume Oil in Clean Skin .29 FL Oz. I love getting perfumes! This does have a very nice clean scent, it actually reminds me of baby lotion lol 

Eclos Anti-Aging Regenerative Cream .25 FL OZ. This has a strong scent to it but it does fade after a little bit. I love getting moisturizers because I have such dry skin, with all these beauty subs it seems like I will never have to actually buy one lol!

Eclos Anti-Aging Face Serum .5 FL OZ. I haven't used this, I'm actually going to be giving it to my mom because she really wants to try it!
