LORAC MEGO PRO PALETTE REVIEW + SWATCHES

Hello Lovelies!!

Lorac Cosmetics came out with a new palette called the Mega Pro Palette (RTV $59), and as soon as I saw it, this was my exact reaction:

This palette features 32 eyeshadows, 16 matte eyeshadows and 16 shimmer eyeshadows. The packaging is a slim burgundy case, that is the size of a small notebook or a regular sized journal. I am really happy with the size, I'm happy it isn't humongous, I can still easily carry this palette around and it would be easy for travel.

1st Row Mattes from left to right:

 Cream, Fawn, Camel, Septa, Dusty Plum, Orchid, Mulberry, Espresso

2nd Row Mattes from left to right:

White, Khaki, Brown, Stone, Lilac, Wisteria, Gray, Black

 3rd Row Shimmers from left to right:

Opal, Sand, Copper, Sienna, Apricot, Blush, Merlot, Indigo

 4th Row Shimmers from left to right:

Vanilla, Cashmere, Smokey Topaz, Dusty Rose, Granite, Maroon, Deep Teal, Caviar

The colors are so smooth, buttery and pigmented, there is no primer under these swatches and they showed up so nicely! I think I like this palette more than my Urban Decay Naked Palettes! 

This palette is worth the price tag, I'm contemplating buying another one as a back up, that is how much I love this palette already. It is only available on Lorac's website and on Amazon, it will not be coming anywhere else. It is sold out on both sites currently, but Lorac has announced that Amazon is getting in one more shipment! Make sure you keep an eye out for that shipment, Lorac will not be re-stocking these, once they are gone, they're gone for good, except for the very inflated prices on ebay! 

This palette gets a well deserved A+ from me, it has a lot of colors, matte and shimmer, pigmentation is amazing, smooth and buttery. Well done Lorac!

OCTOBER BEAUTY ARMY BOX

Hello Lovelies!

This is the first time in awhile that I haven't skipped Beauty Army in a long time! Beauty Army is another beauty subscription, it costs $12 per month but it does allow you to skip if the choices don't interest you. That is one thing I do love about Beauty Army, they give you the choice to skip, and they also give you the choice to pick 6 samples out of the 9 they have decided fit your profile the best.

After refreshing my account what felt like a billion times I finally got 6 samples that I was happy about!

Here are the products I picked:

Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara in Blackest Black, Full Size!

This mascara is showing up in all of the beauty subscriptions! This is my second full sized one, my first one came from Beauty Box 5. This mascara is nice for separating my lashes, which clump easily, so I use it as a 'pre-mascara', I put it on after I prime my lashes and before I use my main mascara. Yay for back ups!

 Vincent Longo Lip and Cheek Gel Stain in Angel's Touch, 0.09 FL OZ
This Gel stain is ok, it is super watery at first so you really have to rub it to get it to soak in or it will leave weird water spots.

 Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands, Full Size!
I love Burt's Bees products, and I'm so excited that they have come out with a lip crayon! This is really nice and pigmented, goes on smooth, and looks great! Also I have to mention, how adorable is that cap, it has honeycomb print on it!!

 Pretty Woman Nail Polish in Stop and Stare, 0.17 Fl Oz.
This polish is so time and cute! I have never heard of this brand and I'm excited to see if their formula is good! I love red polishes!!

 Aromaflage Botanical Fragrance & insect Repellent Sample.
Ok, I know that sounds weird that it is also an insect repellent, but that is one of the reasons why I got it! Ever since I moved back to North Carolina mosquitoes have been attacking me like no other, I'm hoping that this will help me get rid of them while smelling good too! It smells really good and fruity, it has a citrus, vanilla scent and I really like it.

 Nelson J Beverly Hills Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask in Coconut, 0.5 Fl Oz
I love getting hair masks in my boxes, my hair is thick and damaged, so this is definitely a win for me, even if it is in a foil packet.

Overall I am happy with my Beauty Army box for October, I will use all of these products and there was some decent sizes, which doesn't come often with Beauty Army! I hope next month they have some good stuff again!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek and Lip Stain in Pink Full Size! RTV $19.99

I don't think I have ever received a product from this brand, so new things are always great to try, that is why I've subbed to these boxes! I will definitely be using this balmy stain on my lips with a gloss on top!

 Extend Your Beauty Cosmetic Tool Full Size! RTV $5.49

I have been wanting one of these for awhile, it is a little spatula that you use to scoop that last little bit of product out that is hard to get too. I don't think I would pay $6 for one though, so I'm happy to get one in a box!

 Nanacoco Nail Polish in Mermaid Lake, Full Size! RTV $3.95

I just moved across the country and left all of my nail polish behind so I love getting polishes in these as I only have a few here. I am a blue polish hoarder so this was awesome!

Chapstick Hydration Lock, Full Size! RTV $2.99

Usually I'm not a fan of getting items that are easily found at the drugstore, but I have not been able to find this one, only the raspberry lemonade one. So this Chapstick was welcomed in my box. 

Last but not least,

Lashem Picture Perfect 0.17 fl oz Sample RTV about $1.29. Full size is 0.5 fl oz RTV $3.95.

This is another new brand for me I think, I can't remember using anything from them before.

This is a wrinkle reducer, but it says that if you don't have wrinkles it can also be used as a face primer.

Geek Chic Cosmetics Haul and Review - Witchcraft and Wizardy (Harry Potter Line)

Hello Lovelies!

Something you may not know about me is, I love Harry Potter! Yes, I am in my Mid-20's but I grew up reading HP since I was 9/10 years old, and I love it just as much now as I did then! So, when I saw that Geek Chic Cosmetics had a line dedicated to HP I had to get it, no if and or buts about it! 

The line is called Witchcraft and Wizardry and includes 6 eyeshadows at $5.99 each or $35.94 for the whole set, it is currently on sale for $28.75. The packaging is little round plastic 1g containers with sifters, the top features a cartoon version of Harry Potter's face, including his famous lightening bolt scar and large round glasses. All of the eyeshadow's names are related to the books as well.

You Know Who- Black with Green Glitter. 

Always- Greyish Blue.

Mischief Managed- Champagne.

House Elf- Reddish Brown.

Headmaster- Lavender.

Golden Trio- Red with Gold Glitter. 

 I love that the names fit with the chosen colors! These eyeshadows are pretty glittery, especially You-Know-Who and The Golden Trio. They are really nice and smooth and the pigmentation is great, I only had to use very little to swatch. These are all also all Vegan and cruelty free!!

 I am loving these eyeshadows and now I will most likely be purchasing to other eyeshadows lines by them, Fellowship (Lord of the Rings), and This Isn't A Democracy (The Walking Dead) in order to fulfill my crazy fangirl self.

I'm giving these an A+ PLUS bonus points for being made in Oregon, which is my home state!
