October Birchbox x2!

Hello Lovelies!

Sorry for the late Birchbox post, for some reason Birchbox's website deleted my new address and mailed my first box to my old address, which is completely across the country. Thankfully I got my box re-routed to me and finally got it in the mail yesterday! I subbed for a second box this month in hopes of having better odds of getting a Beauty Blender but sadly they sent me last month's Fashionista box, which I had already got, so I have doubles of those products. I didn't mind the doubles though because it was a great box!

Bee Kind Body Lotion

This smells so good, it has a lemony scent, which I love lemon smells! This lotion looks more like a serum than a lotion and it dries so fast! This lotion is so amazing, I definitely will be purchasing a full size! 

 Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner

I now have 3 of these little guys, I have used my first one once, and noticed little to no difference, but I'm hoping with continual use I will see a difference. I really love this brand and hope to get more items from them in future boxes.

Model Co. Party Proof Lipstick Matte Lipstick in Kitty

This is a beautiful nude pink lipstick, I do suggest that you moisturize your lips before using it as it really does show any cracks you might have. This is such a good smelling lipstick too, it has a definite fruity smell to it, it is really sweet and makes me think of candy! 

 Lord And Berry Mini Liner in Sparkle Black

I don't mind getting mini liners if they are pencils because I do not use them often (minus the NARS Larger Than Life), I really do like the first plane black L&B liner I got and I am happy to try one with glitter.

Harvey Prince Petaly Noir Perfume Sample

This is a nice soft floral scent, I actually really like it and may purchase a bottle of it. When I first saw that darn perfume sample in my box, I will not lie, I was annoyed. Now that I have smelled it, I can't be mad, this scent is definitely worthy of my vanity. I just love the description on the bottom right 'We really mean: Sexy as hell.'

 Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner Pencil in Silver

I really like Cynthia Rowley's Eyeliner pencils, they glide on so smoothly and stays put.

 Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara in Black

I am one of those people that LOVE getting mascara samples in my boxes, I feel like I will never need to buy a mascara again, even though I still do. This is the best and cheapest way for me to find my holy grail mascara.

 Naobay Natural & Organic Body Radiance Lotion

Holy Crap this stuff smells SO GOOD! It reminds me of those little pez candies! This lotion is also smooths my skin nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling oily.

 Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless Cleansing Conditioner

This stuff is hands down amazing! It smooths my hair so nicely and gets all the tangles out. My hair is rough and has been dyed constantly since I was a kid and this is really helping it get back on a healthier track. Plus the pump is awesome!

Overall I am 100% pleased with both of these boxes, I don't have a single thing to complain about! I am so happy with my Birchbox, as usual, and it is still keeping it's #1 spot for beauty subscriptions!

BIRCHBOX SEPTEMBER 2014

Hello Lovelies!

Today I have my September Birchbox! Birchbox is one of my favorite beauty subscriptions; I have great months with them and then sometimes I have bad months with them, but I just can't let them go. I am one of those very few people that prefer Birchbox over Ipsy, I am more of quality over quantity and the products I get from Birchbox I tend to actually use. I also like their 'Bonus points system' over Ipsy's as well, instead of getting to pick only a couple of selected items, with Birchbox you can use your points to put towards buying anything in their shop, which is nice when you are buying more expensive products.

September's Box! I am so happy with this box! I feel like the sizes were pretty great and almost all of the products are stuff I would use! 

This month was their 4 year anniversary so they made a special box! I love the print, I wish they did stuff like this more often!

Davines Absolute Beautifying Conditioner 2.53 FL OZ

I actually hand-picked this sample, I love that Birchbox is giving their subscribers the chance to pick one of their samples! 

I was actually surprised at how big the sample was and I am so happy with it, I have received this brand from Birchbox in the past and have liked everything I have tried so far! 

Davines Absolute Beautifying Potion (hair oil) Foil Packet

I will admit, I HATE foil packets! But I can't complain about this one because it was an extra that came with the conditioner. Also I am happy with it because even though it was a bonus item I was still able to review it and get the 10 points for it! 

 Davines Absolute Beautifying Shampoo Foil Packet

Luckily there is just enough shampoo in this foil packet to use it twice for one washing, it is so annoying to get a foil packet of shampoo that you can only use once in the shower and then you have to use a different shampoo for the second wash. Again, this was an extra that came with the conditioner and I was able to review this one as well for 10 points.

 Temptu Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer 0.1 Fl Oz

This is a cute little sample! I am so happy to finally get a highlighter in a subscription!! It seems like every time there is a highlighter, I never get it! The consistency on this was very nice and smooth and it is easy to blend! I can't wait to play with this more!

 

 Avene Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser 1.69 Fl Oz

Another great sample size! I love cleansers (who doesn't!) so I was happy to see that I got this bad boy! I gave it a little test drive and it cleaned my face pretty good! I think it will work a lot better with a clarasonic or some kind of face cleansing machine.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum 0.06 Fl Oz

I haven't tried this yet but I am happy it has a better smelling scent than the eye cream I received from this brand a couple months ago. 

Juliette Has A Gun Perfume Sample in Anyway

 I have been wanted to try one of this brand's perfumes for quite awhile now, and sadly now that I have this one, I'm not sure I want to try the rest. It is so strong it gives me an instant headache and I had to toss it immediately.

I was sad that when I tried to use the 'BONUSBOX' code that it had already sold out! That went really fast!!! 

Overall I am VERY happy with this box and can't wait for next month's box to get here!

BIRCHBOX MARCH 2014

Hello Lovelies!

I (finally) got my Birchbox in the mail! I know it is only the 19th, but I swear everyone else that I know gets one of these so fast and I'm the last to get one haha. Everyone always asks me, which beauty sub is your favorite? Birchbox is hands down my favorite! No, they don't send out a ton of Make-up like Ipsy and no they don't send out full sized products very much, but I like the items that I get! Birchbox is one of the only subscription services that I find items I fall in love with and purchase a full size of later!

Now enough talk, here is what I got in my March Birchbox:

Michael Todd True Organics Citrus Cream Moisturizer 1.3 FL OZ

I love this brand and was so excited to see that it was in my box! I tried this out after my shower and my face is so smooth and smells so nice! I will definitely repurchase this in a full size bottle when I'm finished with the sample. 

 

 theBalm How 'Bout Them Apples? in Pie. First of all before we get to the product, look at that packaging! It is so cute, and I mean common look at that hotty with his shirt off! The color pay off of this is really nice! I will be using this more as a cream blush than a lip balm.

Omni Potent Duosity Double Whipped Repairing Treatment (each packet is 0.34 FL OZ). I'm never excited to see foil packets but at least I will get two uses out of this! I am also happy about this sample because I love hair treatments due to having damaged hair.

Benefit Bigger Than BB Big Easy in 02 Light. This is a liquid to powder cream that is supposed to work like a BB cream. I'm honestly annoyed with this product because there isn't enough in it to cover half of my face. How am I supposed to know if I like it if I can get a single full use out of it? Tsk Tsk

Air Repair Rescue Balm All-Purpose Skin Salve & Lip Balm. I used this as a lip balm today and I like it minus the smell, it has a medicated lemony scent. I will decide if I like it enough to repurchase it after a few days of use.

 Last but not least, my extra from Birchbox this month is a Ghirardelli Intense Dark Cherry Tango chocolate! I didn't eat this because I'm not a cherry person but I'm sure someone else in the house will love it! 

Overall I am happy with this box minus the Benefit sample. I'm a huge fan of Benefit but that sample is a huge disappointment.

Hello everyone!!

Along with my Ipsy bag I got my Birchbox today!!! I love the mailman lol

I'm just going to  jump right into my box...

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle: I saw this in some boxes last month and was so sad when I didn't get it in mine, so I was super excited to get it this month! My hair is so long and it is constantly getting tangled so I can't wait to try this and see how well it works! Plus it smells sooo good!!

COOLA Classic Sunscreen Face Moisturizer in Cucumber: I love getting face moisturizer, no matter what time of the year it is my face is constantly dry and flaky so I welcome face moisturizers often more than make-up lol!

Amika Oil Treatment for the hair: I love hair oils!!! Although, I don't like that this comes in a foil packet since it is an oil -_-

Fabulous perfume by Isaac Mizrahi: I am like one of the only people I know that don't mind getting perfume samples in subs, I hoard these things lol!! This one isn't too bad, it is a floral scent.

Sumita eyeliner in Saletii- I have tons of eyeliner but I actually don't have a Charcoal Gray one so I am happy to get this! I can already tell I like it, it didn't smudge after rubbing it quite a bit so that always makes me happy! 

I'm actually really happy with my box this month! There are only two things I wasn't happy about which is that the detangler leaked all over so that sucked and I am actually missing the Amika Nourishing Mask! I wrote to Birchbox about both items so hopefully they get back to me soon! Actually, I think this might be the best box I have ever received from Birchbox!!!!

APRIL BIRCHBOX!

APRIL BIRCHBOX!

I finally got my Birchbox in the mail today! I feel like I am the last person to get it this month lol If you don't know what Birchbox is, it is a monthly beauty subscription that costs $10 a month and you get 4/5 beauty samples and usually a lifestyle extra! Want your own Birchbox, click Here. 

The items that came in my Birchbox this month are:

Number 4 Non Aerosol Hair Spray (1.45 Fl Oz): This is a very good sample size in my opinion for hairspray and another hair product that I can keep in my purse for while I'm out! It has a nice cologne scent to it and I really like that instead of a pure alcohol smell.

Whish Shave Cream in Blueberry (0.5 Fl Oz): This shaving cream smells amazing, but sadly I am allergic to blueberries and I won't risk using it so I will be giving it to my mom; she will be happy lol

Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On (0.5 Fl Oz): This was my lifestyle extra this month, it is a really nice lifestyle extra compared to the Larabars I have to say! This is used to help reduce puffiness and wake up tired eyes. <3 Yes love this!

Ruby Wing Color Changing Nail Polish in Peony (0.25 Fl Oz): This is a 'mini' size but still a great size for a nail polish! What is really cool about this nail polish is that it changes colors! When you are inside it is a peach color and outside it is red! That is awesome and I am excited to try it out!

Supergoop! CC Cream (3ml): This is a tiny little guy but so cute, I love how cute tiny samples look haha It is in the color light to medium and as you can tell from the swatch on my hand it is a little dark for my skin tone but I'm sure once I rub it in and blend it out it will work fine.
