APRIL SEPHORA HAUL!

Hello Lovelies!

It's always a good day when there is a haul!! I don't know about you, but I am OBSESSED with Sephora! It is my go to cosmetics store to shop! Sadly, there is not  a Sephora store near me, so I do my shopping online. There is always an up to shopping online and but there is also always a low to shopping online.
For me the plus of online shopping is, I seem to save more money that way because I don't have all of these amazing products physically in from of me so I don't buy everything in sight.
The low to buying online, is even if you look up swatches online, you never know exactly what color the product is going to look like on yourself, especially foundation.

Here are the items I purchased:

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Make Up in Ivory.
Sadly this purchase was a low because it is too dark and orange for my skin.

bareMinerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation in Bare Porcelain 01 RTV $29
This foundation was as well to dark and orange for me =/ also after using it my husband commented that it had a not so great smell.

Kat Von D Everlasting blush in Essex (dusty rose) RTV $25
This is my first blush from the KVD line and I absolutely love it! I have to use a pretty light hand with my brush when using this because it is so pigmented. Kat Von D just continues to impress me with her line, the packaging is cute and the product is great!

Kat Von D Autograph Eyeliner in Pure Amor (Matte Jet Black) RTV $16
I usually don't use liquid liner but I have been wanting to switch up my liner a bit. The brush on this makes it easy to flick out and get a nice winged liner look.

Beauty Blender + Solid Cleaner RTV $25
The Beauty Blender is my go to device to use to apply my foundation, it definitely applies my foundation almost flawlessly.

Micro Mini Beauty Blenders RTV $17.95
I saw these and just had to get them because they are so tiny and adorable. I don't know why but when I see mini things I have to get them, it is a weird addiction I have haha That is why beauty subscriptions work so well for me! These are so great for applying concealers, especially for under the eye!

GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment Mini 0.5 oz RTV $19
I've been wanting to try this for awhile after hearing so many great reviews on it. Personally I didn't like it, but I only used it one time because it burned my face.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara RTV $10
I absolutely love this product! I not only use it on my bottom lashes, but I also use it on my top lashes after I prime them to help separate my lashes before using my main mascara.

Shaveworks Get Smooth Mini Duo RTV $10
I actually got this for my husband for shaving his face, he says that he really likes it.

Rosebud Perfume Co. Strawberry Lip Balm RTV $7
This tin is really big! The balm smells so good and it smooths my lips really nicely! When I saw it, I automatically had a flashback of this chapstick my aunt used to have when I was younger and purchased it solely for that reason, but after using it I will purchase it again because it is a great product!

Sephora Express Cleansing Wipes (10 wipes) RTV $4
Honestly, these wipes weren't that great and definitely not worth the price for only 10 wipes. I would rather just use drugstore wipes.

F.A.B. Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration Mini RTV $12
This is another product I have heard great reviews on, after trying it I learned that I can only use it in my super dry areas. If I use it all over my face, I will get break outs.

Even though I definitely had a few misses with items in this haul but overall I am happy with it! I will definitely be purchasing more KVD items in the future and recommend them to others, especially the blushes!

SEPTEMBER SEPHORA HAUL #1!

Hello Lovelies!!

My first Sephora order came in the other day and I am so happy with the products! Sephora is one of my many favorite places to shop at for beauty items, and I always tend to find myself scavenging their site for more products.

My haul:

Benefit Hot 2 Trot! Kit ($29)
This set was the reason why I made a purchase from Sephora, Benefit Cosmetics is discontinuing their Bella Bamba blush so I jumped on this blush before it was too late. Sephora is the last place that has this blush except for Ebay and Amazon, but it was a better deal to get it from Sephora because for just $1 more you get a deluxe sized Cha Cha tint as well. The blush is a beautiful watermelon pink, and like all of Benefit's Box of Powders, the packaging is absolutely adorable!

Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Size Palette ($22)
I wanted to get this palette because I had a full size one that I loved but ended up losing it. I liked the idea of a travel sized one because I do travel quite often, but I did not expect it to be so small, I love how small it is! I can literally put this in my wallet, yeah my wallet!! This is the perfect palette to take with you anywhere! I'm keeping it in my purse for one of those 'you never know moments'. The eyeshadows are beautiful, it includes four shimmery shades and four matte shades. The person/robot who glued in the shadows didn't glue them all in perfectly straight, but that is okay with me, they are glued in tight and that is all that matters. I took pictures of it next to my Ulta Rewards card just to show how small the size is.

EXTRAS:

Promo Code Extra - BareMinerals set includes:
Prime Time Foundation Primer Deluxe sample
BareMinerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light Deluxe sample
BareMinerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation in Bare Linen

Pick 3 Samples:
Elizabeth And James Nirvana Black Perfume Sample Spray
Make Up For Ever Mist And Fix Spray
Jack Black Face Buff Energizing Scrub

I was surprisingly impressed with the sample choices for this one, they usually only have perfume samples and foil packets, and as soon as a saw the MUFE mist and fix I was like YES!!!!

Extra:

Giorgio Armani Si Perfume foil
This perfume smells SOOOOOO good!!!! It is definitely a fruity scent and I just can't even describe how amazing it is, if you like fruity scents, go smell this perfume! This is a time when I wish you could scratch and sniff the computer (One day I'm sure it will happen lol). I will definitely be getting this perfume!
I love getting little perfume sample cards to smell, because if I like them I will leave them laying around the house as little hints for my husband LOL.

Don't forget to subscribe / follow :)

Thank you!

IPSY MARCH 2014

Hello Lovelies!

It is that time of the month, my Ipsy bag is here! If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is a monthly beauty subscription that costs $10 per month and they send you 4-5 beauty items that will either be samples, deluxe samples or even full sized! Want to join Ipsy, CLICK HERE.

Here are the items I got in my March Ipsy:

This months bag was created by an artist in California, I think it is great the Ipsy is working with local artists! The bag isn't my cup of tea personally, don't get me wrong I love art, just not this kind..

Nicole by O.P.I. Roughless Sand Polish in On What Grounds? I haven't been very big on the sand polish craze, but I am willing to give this a try because it is a really pretty blue that is perfect for the Spring!

Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer 0.4 FL OZ This primer has a bit of a bronze tint to it so I'm a little hesitant to try it due to the fact that I could be Snow White's long lost sister in the pale department. I do like the Pixi brand from what I have tried though, so I will be trying this on a day when I don't have plans just to make sure it doesn't clash with my skin tone.

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready. I actually like this lipstick color! It is one of the only lip colors that Ipsy has sent that I can wear! Yay!!

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow quad in Bora Bora. The colors are pretty but unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of this brand or the ingredients in their products. I wish Ipsy wouldn't put their products in their bags every single month...
