AMAZON NAIL ART MINI HAUL!

Hello Ladies!

Today I have a mini haul from Amazon!
The first thing I got was a set of 5 2-way nail dotting set. These are so amazing and perfect for people like me who are artistically challenged lol They took awhile to get to me since they were sent from Hong Kong but for only $1.47 shipped they were worth it! If you would like to get your own set click here.

The second item I got is a MASH Rhinestones 2400 Piece 12 color Nail art manicure wheel. This is so fun to play around with! With 12 different colors there are so many different ways to use them! You don't even need glue, just put them in the design of your choice and add a top coat! These were as well sent from Hong Kong and only cost $1.19 shipped! If you would like your own set click here.

*NOTD*

It took me only about 5 minutes to decide to try out my new nail decals that I showed you in my previous post lol I ended up having to use the old 'any mini miny moe' technique in order to decide which ones to try out. The winner was the purple tuxedo nail decals. I was kind of sad because they were pretty big so I had to cut them down a lot but they still turned out really cute! My base polish that I used is the Sally Hansen polish in 'Mint Sorbet' if you have not noticed I have been completely obsessed with this nail polish and I have 2 back ups of it for when I run out lol
Here are my nails, I think that they turned out cute; what do you think?.... Besides the fact that I am very messy when painting my nails lol

Next time I will use the pink tuxedo decals, what color should I use to go with them?

*NAIL DECALS MINI HAUL*

So excited I got my nail decals in the mail today!!
I absolutely love wearing nail decals, they make having cute nail designs so much easier if you are like me and not an artist lol.
I like to buy my nail decals off of ebay because they are very cheap and they do ship rather fast, I received mine within about 3-4 days. I will include links to the sites that I ordered these ones from.

So these are the nail decals that I picked this time.

The first ones are the Tuxedo decals in Pink and Purple; there are many other colors that you can chose from. The both came in a set of 11, they give you an extra one in case you accidentally mess one up. Each of these sets cost $1.86
Purple Set
Pink Set

The next set I got are the Leopard print french tip manicure nails. There are many different choices that you can pick from including leopard print, zebra print, snake print, tiger print, etc. There are also many different colors that you can chose from! These came in a set of 20 for $1.90

The next set is a pink heart set in plaid, I actually meant to get a multicolored zebra print set but I accidentally put in the wrong number =/ I will order them still though! With these ones you can as well pick from a wide variety of colors and prints. These come in a set of 20 for $1.90

Last but not least is a set of shoelace decals. These are cute for making shoe nail designs like the ever so popular converse design! I'm super excited to try these ones out =] These come in a set of 20 for $1.49

Nail decals are very easy to apply all you have to do is cut them to your desired size, run them under water, slide of the paper backing and press gently on the nail then add a coat of clear top coat polish =]

*NOTD*

Well it is more like nails of the night. I have a bit of a sleeping problem so I am always usually awake at night time. I got bored and decided to paint my nails; I used a lot of fingernail polish remover taking off colors and putting new colors on. So here are two of the nail designs that I did. (Sorry about the pictures, I am in the process of getting a new camera and right now I only have the camera on my phone)

I know, I know, the colors don't match but I was bored having fun, and having fun is what it is all about!
These turned out so cute and it was definitely fun to do! Here is how I made this look...

So here is the step by step process:
You can use more than two colors, I just went with two colors for my first try.
The first step is to get a piece of cardboard or some kind of surface you don't mind having fingernail polish on such as a plate.
Poor a little puddle of your first fingernail polish out.
Take your second color and add a dot of it into the middle.
Take a Q-tip or tooth pick and spread the second color around to make the colors mix.
Put your nail in the fingernail polish and rub it in to get the color onto your nail.

I did not need a base coat, but once your nails dry you will still need a top coat so that your polish does not chip as easily.
This is messy so if you want you can put tape around your nails so that you don't get polish all over your fingers; I should have done that but of course I didn't so I made a huge mess lol.

*NOTD* PACMAN STYLE!

Today I decided to that I wanted to try a new nail design; while I was thinking what I should do, I was playing my Pacman app on my Nook. That is when the thought hit me to do Pacman nails! Sorry they do not look that great it was my first time doing them.

Of course when doing this design I had to use a few different colors of nail polish so the ones I used were the L.A. Colors Art Deco polishes (Around $1.99 each). The blue nail polish is by Cosmetic R and as you probably noticed I switched the tops from the black fingernail polish to the blue nail polish. I did this because I needed the fine tip on the black nail polish want in order to make the blue ghost and the bigger nail polish tip from the blue polish in order to do the black base coat. I am pretty impressed with how my nails turned out and I am hoping that next time they will look even better!
