*NOTD* Featuring Christian Louboutin Nail Polish in Lady Twist

Hello Lovelies!!

I just recently received a box from Sephora and before I posted the haul, I wanted to show you all this beautiful nail polish, plus I was too impatient to wait to use it! In my haste to put it on and show you all I did not clean up my nails before taking the photo, so please excuse the mess ;)

As soon as I saw Christian Louboutin's new nail polish Noir collection, I knew I needed Lady Twist. I decided on Lady Twist because it is a color I knew I would wear and love. These polishes are expensive, at a whopping $50 per polish, so I suggest that if you buy one, pick a color that you know you will love.

Can we just take a moment to admire the packaging! The handle on this polish could double as a weapon! I love the long handle, it makes the application easy using either hand. The handle is made out of metal and is definitely great quality. The packaging on this polish without a doubt gets an A+!

The polish is really nice, it glides on smoothly and doesn't streak, it is very opaque. Only two coats are needed to achieve the perfect color. The formula has withstood me doing dishes and showering, I will do an update in a few days to let you all know how it is lasting.

Is this polish worth the $50? Hmmm I'm not so sure yet to be honest, I love the packaging, and the color but I need a few days to decide if I love the polish's formula as much as the packaging.

Don't forget to subscribe / follow :)

Thank you!

*NOTD*

Hello everyone!
I thought I would share today's nails! I decided to try out the ncLA nail wraps set (Jungle Fever)  that I got from Little Black Bag! I have so far only used nail strips from Sally Hansen so I was excited to branch out and try nail strips from ncLA!

These were very simple and easy to apply! I loved that the ncLA strips come with a full size nail file compared to the very small one that comes in the Sally Hansen packs, I actually am now keeping the file in my purse. These peel off very easily so a top coat is a must!! I absolutely love the leopard print design, I am a huge animal print person! For a top coat I used the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color. Overall I really like these and would be willing to purchase them even for the $16 price because it comes with 2 sets!

MANI MONDAY!

MANI MONDAY/NOTD

Hello Ladies!! I wanted to show you my nail strips that I have been wearing. I have actually had these on for three days so they are a little worn on the tips of my nails but besides that they have been holding up like champs! I am wearing the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in 'Animal Instinct'. I actually got these in my Insiders' Choice Box, can be seen here, and it came with two sets of these babies! These ones are really cute!! I love zebra print so I was excited when I got them and I like that they have sparkles in them! I like the pink although I would not have picked pink if I were out buying these because I do have bright red hair and my hair color tends to clash with anything pink. I have used Sally Hansen's nail polish strips a few times and I absolutely love them. I am artistically challenged so these are perfect for me! What kind of nails are you sporting today?

NOTD

Hello ladies!!!
The nail polish I used for today's nails is O.P.I's 'AN AFFAIR IN RED SQUARE'
I love finding red nail polish colors; there are so many but it is honestly very hard to find the perfect red, but with this is one of the BEST red nail colors I have found to this day! I do not even know where I got this one at, it just kind of appeared in my house lol I'm sure I bought it awhile ago and just can't remember exactly when or where. I will be on the look out for another one though so that I can have a back-up! Have you seen one of these in a store, if so let me know which one!

NOTD

Hello Ladies!! In this month's July The Look Bag we received two Bon-Bons nail polishes, I was not over-the-hill about getting them because well they are only $0.88 at Walmart. I decided that I might as well try them out since I have them and I was actually surprised that they are not too bad! I loved the way the green color turned out and the orange is actually not to bad either! I was happy with the way the colors looked after only two coats. This picture was taken almost 24 hours after I painted my nails and just to let you know I did not even put a top coat on and they still have yet to chip.

It still obviously is not my favorite brand of nail polish but for $0.88 it is not too bad.

*NOTD*

It took me only about 5 minutes to decide to try out my new nail decals that I showed you in my previous post lol I ended up having to use the old 'any mini miny moe' technique in order to decide which ones to try out. The winner was the purple tuxedo nail decals. I was kind of sad because they were pretty big so I had to cut them down a lot but they still turned out really cute! My base polish that I used is the Sally Hansen polish in 'Mint Sorbet' if you have not noticed I have been completely obsessed with this nail polish and I have 2 back ups of it for when I run out lol
Here are my nails, I think that they turned out cute; what do you think?.... Besides the fact that I am very messy when painting my nails lol

Next time I will use the pink tuxedo decals, what color should I use to go with them?

*NOTD*

Well it is more like nails of the night. I have a bit of a sleeping problem so I am always usually awake at night time. I got bored and decided to paint my nails; I used a lot of fingernail polish remover taking off colors and putting new colors on. So here are two of the nail designs that I did. (Sorry about the pictures, I am in the process of getting a new camera and right now I only have the camera on my phone)

I know, I know, the colors don't match but I was bored having fun, and having fun is what it is all about!
These turned out so cute and it was definitely fun to do! Here is how I made this look...

So here is the step by step process:
You can use more than two colors, I just went with two colors for my first try.
The first step is to get a piece of cardboard or some kind of surface you don't mind having fingernail polish on such as a plate.
Poor a little puddle of your first fingernail polish out.
Take your second color and add a dot of it into the middle.
Take a Q-tip or tooth pick and spread the second color around to make the colors mix.
Put your nail in the fingernail polish and rub it in to get the color onto your nail.

I did not need a base coat, but once your nails dry you will still need a top coat so that your polish does not chip as easily.
This is messy so if you want you can put tape around your nails so that you don't get polish all over your fingers; I should have done that but of course I didn't so I made a huge mess lol.

*NOTD* PACMAN STYLE!

Today I decided to that I wanted to try a new nail design; while I was thinking what I should do, I was playing my Pacman app on my Nook. That is when the thought hit me to do Pacman nails! Sorry they do not look that great it was my first time doing them.

Of course when doing this design I had to use a few different colors of nail polish so the ones I used were the L.A. Colors Art Deco polishes (Around $1.99 each). The blue nail polish is by Cosmetic R and as you probably noticed I switched the tops from the black fingernail polish to the blue nail polish. I did this because I needed the fine tip on the black nail polish want in order to make the blue ghost and the bigger nail polish tip from the blue polish in order to do the black base coat. I am pretty impressed with how my nails turned out and I am hoping that next time they will look even better!

NOTD =]

I will admit, I am addicted to fingernail polish. I have so many colors that I am sure they will go bad before I can use them all up. Today's nail colors are by Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in 'Mint Sorbet' with a top coat of Sally Hansen's Crackle Overcoat in 'Fractured Foil'.

I love this combination! Sorry for the sloppy nails, I was not finished but I was so excited I took pics right away lol. What nail color are you wearing today?
