May Ipsy Glam Bag!

Hello Lovelies! 

It is always a great day when I open the mail box and find that pink mail bubbler happily waiting for me to tear it open! 

 It took me two seconds to tear it open and discover the goodies inside!!

This is what I received in my May Ipsy Glam Bag:

This month's bag is the first bag in awhile that I have absolutely fallen in love with, it is so adorable and has already found it's rightful home in my purse!

 

 Urban Decay Ozone 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil Primer, as well as two samples of the new Revolution High-Color Lipgloss.

Swatches of the Revolution High-Color Lipgloss in Failbait (Pink) & Bittersweet (Purple).

My first impression of these glosses was that they are thick, but not very sticky. The color Failbait is so nice and pigmented, upon swatching it I already want to purchase it. 

I wanted to love Bittersweet but I'm honestly disappointed in it, the color is pretty but it is patchy and you would have to layer it a few times, making it even thicker. I would personally pass on this color.

Bellapiere Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner in Ebony - Black

I am honestly a fan of this brand, everything that I have gotten from them so far has been rather nice in quality. I'm excited to give this liner a try and see how well it lasts throughout the day.

Pixi by Petra Bronzer in Summertime

I'm not a big bronzer wearer, mostly because I am so pale that bronzer always ends up looking bad on me, but I really like this bronze color for an eyeshadow! 

Peter Lamas Detoxifying Citrus C Facial Cleanser

Surprise, Surprise, another cleanser, I have been getting tons of cleansers lately! I would definitely prefer a face lotion over cleanser.

Caviar CC Cream Leave-In Hair Perfector

I love this brand, and was so excited to see it in my bag! This is going to be perfect now that summer is here with all of the humidity.

Bonus Product:

I had some bonus points saved up and I have been wanting to try this Lip Balm for awhile but have yet to get it in any of my subs so I pounced on it while it was available and I am already very happy with it! It definitely feels like it is moisturizing my lips!

Overall I am very happy with this bag, the only item I wasn't thrilled with is the cleanser, but that is only because of the many cleansers I seem to be getting lately.

March Ipsy

Hello Lovelies!

Sorry I am really late posting this, but better late than never! 

Here is what I got in my March Ipsy bag!

First thing I have to say is that March's Ipsy bag is so cute! The bags lately haven't been the cutest in my opinion, but this bag is adorable!

 NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk

When I first saw this lipstick I was like wow, that is a deep purple! Then I swatched it and found that you really have to do a few coats to get it a bit deeper.

 Boo Boo Cover Up Concealer in Medium Mini 0.13 OZ

Sadly, this is too dark for me, getting this makes me wish that Ipsy followed the info we filled out, in my beauty profile it says that I am fair. I do like this product but I won't be able to use it. 

 

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Illuminating Face Highlighter in Crystal Pink 

I really like this highlighter, it is super smooth and buttery! I am happy to see Ipsy feature a new brand that I have never heard of or tried. 

 

Purlisse Purdelicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser 1 Fl Oz 

I have got so many things from this brand from Ipsy, I am not a huge fan. Although, I am still going to try this product, who knows, I may love it!

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion 0.25 fl oz

First thing I have to say, RIP to Mr. Brandt.

I love Dr. Brandt products, I am a huge fan of the Pores No More line. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is practically empty, it is only filled like maybe 15%, which is pretty annoying. 

Overall I would give this bag a 7/10

IPSY BAG SEPTEMBER 2014

Hello Lovelies!

I love opening my mail box and seeing that bright pink bubble mailer in it! I don't know about you, but I always keep the mailer and reuse it! It is so perfect for mailing out gifts, or to trade beauty items!

First off, the make up bag we got this month is so cute! I love the little studs on it and I ill definitely be using this one! 

 

 All my products from September!

 Hikari Lipstick in Cabernet - rich red wine. This product is full sized and is worth $13!

I have not heard of this brand so it is awesome that Ipsy is using different brands.

Pacifica Pencil Eyeliner - Silver. This is about half the size of the full size eyeliner and is worth about $6.

I'm not a big pencil eye liner fan, but Pacifica's is surprisingly smooth and glides on nicely! It will be perfect for Christmas (Only 98 days away!). 

 Beauty Without Cruelty - BWC Premium Botanical Lotion in Sweet Lavender 2 FL OZ. The full size bottle is 16 Oz and costs $12.95, so this deluxe samples is worth about $2.50.

Another new brand! I love that they are cruelty free and I hope that we see some make up in the bags from this brand in the future!

 Harvey Prince Hello Mini Rollerball 8.8 ML $21!!

SCORE! I love getting perfumes that aren't those little mini samples, getting a rollerball makes me giddy on the inside! I love the citrus smell that lasts for hours!

 Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Smooth Criminal Powder

0.14 OZ RTV $12.

This is one brand I can't wait for Ipsy to stop sending out in the bags. I'm not a big fan of their products and generally don't use any of them.

This month's bag's worth is around $54.50!!! Honestly the worth doesn't matter to me as much as the products do! 

Overall it was a decent bag, not my favorite but I am happy with it!

 

IPSY MARCH 2014

Here are the items I got in my March Ipsy:

 

 This months bag was created by an artist in California, I think it is great the Ipsy is working with local artists! The bag isn't my cup of tea personally, don't get me wrong I love art, just not this kind..

Nicole by O.P.I. Roughless Sand Polish in On What Grounds? I haven't been very big on the sand polish craze, but I am willing to give this a try because it is a really pretty blue that is perfect for the Spring!

Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer 0.4 FL OZ This primer has a bit of a bronze tint to it so I'm a little hesitant to try it due to the fact that I could be Snow White's long lost sister in the pale department. I do like the Pixi brand from what I have tried though, so I will be trying this on a day when I don't have plans just to make sure it doesn't clash with my skin tone.

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready. I actually like this lipstick color! It is one of the only lip colors that Ipsy has sent that I can wear! Yay!!

 

 Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow quad in Bora Bora. The colors are pretty but unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of this brand or the ingredients in their products. I wish Ipsy wouldn't put their products in their bags every single month...

and the one on the left is from NYX.

Personally I would rather have the palette from Be A Bombshell since I am not a big NYX eyeshadow fan. *Crossing fingers for B.A.B.*

MARCH IPSY (MYGLAM) SNEAK PEAK #1!

It is the first Monday of the month, so you know what that means... IPSY SNEAK PEAK!!!

Today's sneak peak is.....

MARCH GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK #1: Travel tips and travel lips! Now is the time to start planning a trip to your dream destination with one of these amazing products.

As you can see from the picture, there is a lipgloss and a lipstick in a vibrant dark pink/red color. 

Here is what I think the items are:

Bare Minerals, Double Trouble lip set! Retail $14

Even though it is a set, it is possible that Ipsy will be breaking them up and it will be an either or item. So I'm assuming that you will either get the lipstick or the lipgloss. *I could be wrong and this might not be what is in the sneak peak*

I finally got my May Ipsy bag! I feel like I am one of the last people to get it but I am so excited to finally get it in my hands and to see what variation of products I got! Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume Roll-On: I am so excited about this item, I really wanted it and was crossing my fingers hoping I would get it and I did!! Woohoo Thank you Ipsy!!!

Zoya Professional Lacquer in Blu: Believe it or not this is actually my first Zoya polish ever lol! I tried this out and I liked that it dried within seconds of applying it! 

Yaby Concealer in Pecan: I am putting this in the giveaway as well because I am so pale, like I look like snow white! I'm hoping that it will benefit someone else!

Juice Beauty Lipgloss in Pink: Yes! I am so excited that I got a gloss and not a lipstick, I am more of a gloss person than a lipstick person so I am super stoked about this!

And Last but not least......

I got an extra item this month for contributing to Ipsy's site, even though I don't so I'm pretty sure they just put it in random bags lol

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Moonspoon! These eyeshadows retail for $20 each so that is crazy that they put these in bags as extras! This alone pays for 2 bags!
