Sorry I am really late posting this, but better late than never! 

Here is what I got in my March Ipsy bag!

First thing I have to say is that March's Ipsy bag is so cute! The bags lately haven't been the cutest in my opinion, but this bag is adorable!

 NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk

When I first saw this lipstick I was like wow, that is a deep purple! Then I swatched it and found that you really have to do a few coats to get it a bit deeper.

 Boo Boo Cover Up Concealer in Medium Mini 0.13 OZ

Sadly, this is too dark for me, getting this makes me wish that Ipsy followed the info we filled out, in my beauty profile it says that I am fair. I do like this product but I won't be able to use it. 

 

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Illuminating Face Highlighter in Crystal Pink 

I really like this highlighter, it is super smooth and buttery! I am happy to see Ipsy feature a new brand that I have never heard of or tried. 

 

Purlisse Purdelicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser 1 Fl Oz 

I have got so many things from this brand from Ipsy, I am not a huge fan. Although, I am still going to try this product, who knows, I may love it!

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion 0.25 fl oz

First thing I have to say, RIP to Mr. Brandt.

I love Dr. Brandt products, I am a huge fan of the Pores No More line. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is practically empty, it is only filled like maybe 15%, which is pretty annoying. 

Overall I would give this bag a 7/10

October Lip Monthly!

Recently a crop of new beauty subscriptions have been popping up, when I heard of Lip Monthly I thought that it would be a fun one! I liked the thought of a beauty sub catered just to your lips and for only $10 I thought I would give it a try!

October's Bag

The bag is really cute!

J.Cat Beauty Fantabulous Lipstick in Honeycrisp RTV $2.99

This is a nice nude color and I would have liked but when I opened it up (it was not sealed) a hair was attached to the lipstick as if someone had opened it already.

DeVine Lip Shimmer in Pinot Noir RTV $4.95

This smells so good, it is like a grape exploded in my nose, I love it! 

 Noyah Lip Balm RTV $3.99

This smells absolutely delicious! I love chapsticks that are all natural! This chapstick really moisturizes my lips! (Use code lipmonthly at noyah.com for a 20% discount!

 Starlooks Lip Sugar Scrub Sample Sized RTV $2

When I first saw this I was really excited, I LOVE lip scrubs, and then I opened it and it literally looks like they just put brown sugar into a jar or something. This was another product that was not sealed. It is also very dry like it might be old. I included a picture from Starlooks site of what they show their scrub to look like and they are completely different!

 L.A. Girls Eyeliner Pencil in Black Brown RTV $3

I'm not a big fan of this drugstore brand to be honest, the liner isn't too bad but it definitely isn't the smoothest pencil liner.

 

 

Overall between finding a hair on the lipstick, the dried out lip scrub and the L.A. Girls eyeliner I am not impressed with this bag. The only items I enjoyed were the chapsticks. I have already canceled this bag, I think a lot of customers have canceled theirs as well because now when you go to the cancel button it will try to tempt you to stay with a 20% off your next month's bag.

OCTOBER IPSY BAG!

It is that time of the month, I got my Ipsy bag!!! I know a lot of people are tired of getting monthly beauty subscriptions and samples, but I am definitely not one of them! It feels like Christmas every month getting these in, a little treat for yourself is always nice!

October's Bag

 Epice International Purifying Exfoliant 1 oz

Full size is 3.30 fl oz rtv $ $32

At first when I squeezed a bit of this out I thought it was a lotion, but when I rubbed it around I can definitely feel the micro beads. It has a subtle clean smell, that won't be over powering, I cannot wait to give this a try!

 Doll 10 Beauty H2Glo Highlighter in Champagne 0.15 oz

Full size is 0.35 oz and retails for $30

This is a great sized deluxe sample! I was so happy to see this in my bag, I love trying new highlighters! The formula is really nice, this highlighter is subtle and perfect for an every day look!

 MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder Eyeshadow in 93 Reluctance 0.10 oz Full size! RTV $14

At first I was not excited to see this eyeshadow in here, but then I swatched it, and it is so beautiful! It swatched really smooth and buttery and has great pigmentation.

I would buy this eyeshadow, and I would definitely recommend it!

Fig & Rouge Nourishing and Smoothing Hand Cream in Mango Mandarin 0.67 oz / 20 ml, Full size! RTV $6.56!

This smells so incredibly good! I love Mango Mandarin scents! The packaging on this is cute as well, I love the cap, it reminds me of L'Occitane caps!

 Starlooks Mini Lip Gloss in Guilty Pleasure

Usually I dislike the many lipglosses that Ipsy sends out but I can't complain about this one, it is a nice color that I can actually use!!! The gloss is quite sticky but the color is pretty and pigmented. 

Overall I'm going to give October's Ipsy Bag a 10/10!! That is right I gave this bag a 10!!!!!! I will use every single one of these products, the colors are great, the pigmentation is great, exfoliants are always nice as well as great smelling hand cream! I haven't tried most of the brands, and that is something that I look for in these bags, something new, or something I WANT to try before purchasing. I am so pleased with this bag, great job Ipsy!!! Hoping for a great month next month too!

I have seen a lot of Purlisse in boxes, but this is actually the first time I have got one I think. I'm happy getting moisturizers, especially now that it is getting close to winter and my skin gets a bit drier.

Nanacoco Lip Gloss in First Kiss

This is actually a nice gloss, it is pigmented like a lipstick but sticky like a gloss. The packaging is nice and gives it a more 'expensive' look even though it is cheap.

La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes, pack of 8 wipes. 

I love cleansing wipes! They are so great, and perfect in travel size to keep in my purse for when I'm out and about or traveling. 

Full size is 48 wipes for $19.99. Rtv for this sample is around $3.28 

 Novex Brazilian Keratin Conditioner 1.05 Fl OZ

My hair is pretty damaged so I love getting samples of conditioners or treatments. I'm excited to try this!

Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara in Black

YAY for mascara's, especially full sized ones! I am and will probably forever be on the hunt for my holy grail mascara, so I will never get mad getting these in sample boxes!

Another polish with no name. I'm not much of a gold nail polish person, but I'm sure I will find use for this with accent nails.

Sally Hansen Toe Spacers

I'm honestly not super excited about these since they are such a cheap item and easily attainable, I would prefer not to get toe separators in a sample box.

Natural Style by FUBU x2 .5 fl oz each

These look really interesting to me, they are a deep conditioner (Yes!) & Co-wash. I am not a two in one person usually but the word 'deep conditioning' peeked my interest. I like that we were given two, since one isn't always enough for me.

 Nicka K New York Eyelight Crayon in Gold

These are nice for a quick and easy make up look. I like to keep eyeshadow crayons in my purse for just in case, you never know when you might be late and need some quick make up on the go.

Overall the boxes are ok, definitely not my favorite subscription, I will give it one month and if I'm not impressed I will definitely be canceling.
